2. The School Education Department collaborated with PITB to
institutionalize a tablet-based School Information System (SIS) allowing schools to self-report in real-time The system helps track enrollment and retention for each individual student So far, public schools in the Punjab have registered 11 9 million students For each student. the CNIC numbers of their parents/guardians. phone number. date of birth. enrollment year and current grade. is maintained in the database Currently. more than 43 lac students of age 12 and above are in public schools in which 33 lac 45 thousand students are being vaccinated so far by the team of Primary & Secondary Health Department,
In this regard School Education Department has desired to mark the status of vaccination of each student being vaccinated in the School Information System (SIS) This indicator is present under the health section of students as Vaccination Status in SIS application with dropdown options as 1 dose taken. 2 doses taken and none screenshot in this regard is attached as (Annex-A) Further status of student vaccination will be checked through this specific indicator.
