Payment of Salaries to Teachers working in Insaaf Afternoon school Program in Punjab. Afternoon School Program was started in Evening in Public Schools of Punjab. Govt. issued the Directions for Payments to Teachers as soon as possible; It is requested to CEO DEA’s that salaries must paid to the teachers of “Pilot Programme of afternoon Schools” out of DEA’s own Budget without fail please.

AFTERNOON SCHOOL PROGRAMME PAYMENTS (PILOT PROJECT).
School Education Department. Govt. of the Punjab is providing education to millions of children from class One to class 10 in Punjab with the moto “Education for All’ as it is basic right after 18th Amendment in Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan 1973.
2. The Govt. of the Punjab is assigning paramount importance to it’s constitutional obligation to impart Education to the children between the ages of 5 to 16 years and undertaking multiple initiatives to impart it to the children especially for girls at their door steps. The Govt. of the Punjab initiated a Pilot Project in the name of “Afternoon Schools Programme” in selected 22- districts in year 2017 to ensure retention at Elementary and Secondary levels.
3. Teachers are teaching Elementary & Secondary level classes in evening hours and implementing the program very successfully. The School Education Department provided funds for this initiative in past also and now intends to continue this Pilot Programme in larger public Merest also It is therefore, requested that salaries he paid to the teachers of “Pilot Program” out of DEA’s own Budget without fail please.
