Rate of Mark-up on General Provident Fund for fiscal Year 2017-2018

Rate of Mark-Up on state Provident Fund i.e. General Provident Fund for the Fiscal Year 2017-18.

I am directed to refer to this departments letter of even number dated August 21 , 2017 on the subject cited above and state that it has been decided that the rate of profit of 11.70% per annum , will apply during the financial year 2017-18 , to the state provident fund i.e. General Provident Fund. This rate however , would not apply in case of subscribers who are entitled , under the rules of a particular fund , to different rate of interest.
