Payment of half monthly salary to ECE caregivers during closed period of schools

Subject: EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION (ECE) PROVISION OF FUNDS FOR THE SALARY OF PART TIME CAREGIVERS IN ALL DISTRICTS OF PUNJAB

In continuation of this Department’s earlier letter of even No. dated 09.02.2016 on the subject noted above, whereby, remuneration was fixed @ Rs.4000/- per month to Caregivers who were already working in schools (in ECE Centers) out of NSB funds by fulfilling all codal / procedural formalities.
2. I am directed to convey that the Competent Authority has approved that the remuneration of Caregivers who are working in schools (in ECE Centers) may kindly be given @ Rs. 2000/- per month or half of monthly honorarium (already approved / applicable) during summer vacation / closed period of schools under already approved mechanism of payment. Further directions to the field-formation / Districts may be conveyed accordingly, Please
