Subject – GRANT OF ADVANCE INCREMENTS TO ENGLISH TEACHERS

I am directed to refer to your letter No. FD SR-V.2147/2012/23981 dated 06 11.2020 on the subject cited above.

The case was examined in the Department and observed that the Honorable Court’s in a number of writ petitions have allowed advance increments to appellants on the basis of higher qualification. The same is also upheld by the apex Court of Pakistan. Therefore some of the English Teachers are getting the benefit of advance increments on the basis of higher qualification

In view of the above, the department proposes that the benefit may be extended to all those English Teachers who are at par with those who have been granted the relief.
