Subject:Implementation OF SCHOOL BASED ASSESSMENT (SBA) 2022.

In continuation of this office Notification No. Assessment/AD/SBA/2-2021/295 dated 22-04.2022 regarding the schedule of School Based Assessment (SBA) 2022, all the District Education Authorities (DEA) are requested to ensure implementation of SBA 2022’s schedule and SOPS in its true letter and spirit in their districts and strictly monitor the activity In this regard, following main points will be considered precisely:

I. Every school will generate papers using IBS from their specific school login. Any deviation will not be considered SBA as per Govt. of the Punjab approved Assessment Policy Framework (APF-2019).

II. A QR code is being generated on the each papers which can be scanned through any QR Code Scanner App during the monitoring of SBA activity. All the schools need to act responsibly to generate Papers using IBS only.

III. Keys and Rubrics are also being generated through IBS along with the Papers and every school is required to mark the papers by using these tools only.

VI. All schools will Issue Report Card to students on template provided by PEC to ensure standardization by 31 May, 2022.

In this regard, it is being requested to please ensure dissemination of SBA schedule, school login Information and clear instructions to all the schools under your jurisdiction. Furthermore, district management is requested to schedule regular schools’ visit during the conduct of SBA and monitor the assessment process and also ensure that the conduct and marking are being held according to the SOPS by utilizing IBS generated papers, followed by marking of the papers using standardized keys and rubrics.
