STI Salary in Schools not made from NSB

Subject:- HIRING OF SCHOOL TEACHER INTERNEES (STI’s), PHASE-I.
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to enclose herewith a copy of letter No. 1024 dated 12.03.2022, received from Chief Executive Officer, District Education Authority, Sialkot regarding provision of funds for STIs amounting to Rs. 269,388,000/-.
It is stated by the CEO(DEA), Sialkot for the payment of salary to STIs will be made through NSB, whereas the department earlier advised them, This salary should not be made from NSB.
2. It is, therefore, requested that necessary advice may please be made to
settle the issue once for all.

✓The Chief Executive Officer, District Education Authority, Sialkot w/r to his letter referred above. In different Districts of the Punjab DDO powers made wrong and Illegal Practice.
All DDO’s of High Schools mostly made payment from NSB Accounts in Schools which is beyond the Law and Policy. Team of Concerned Chief Executive Officers District Education Authorities does not know any thing about this policy. So they allowed the Head Teachers and Dy. DEO’s to made payments of STI Salary from NSB. So Government of the Punjab must planned a proper procedure to take back this money from DDO’s working in Schools. Mostly , In Punjab Schools observd that Schools Heads give payments to internee from Non-Salary Budget of Schools
