Disbursement of Grants by District Benevolent Fund Boards
Administrative Officer Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund , Services and Administration Department issued a clarification about the EST non Gazetted employees of Punjab Government that the disbursement of Benevolent Fund of BPS-16 and Above is the responsibility of Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund , Services and Administration Department Lahore Office.
The Deputy Commissioners Chairman District Benevolent Fund Board in Each District only allowed to disbursed the Benevolent Fund to Employees of Government of Punjab from BPS-1 to BPS-15 only.

Kindly refer to the subject noted above.
2. I am directed to state that it has been observed that few District Benevolent Fund Boards are disbursing grants to employees of BPS-16 as Non¬Gazetted employees also. It is therefore, Intimated that District Benevolent Fund Boards can only disburse grants out of Benevolent Fund to employees of Punjab Government in BPS 01 to 15 only.
3. I am further directed to state that cases of monthly grant pertaining to BPS-16 and above already in progress with District Benevolent Fund Boards shall remain Intact as before. However, It Is desired to ensure that from now on cases of Benevolent Fund grants related to BPS-16 & above shall not be received or processed by any of the District Benevolent Fund Boards.
