SUBJECT: SURRENDERING OF SERVICES OF TEACHING / NON-TEACHING STAFF BY THE HEAD OF SCHOOL

Please refer to the subject noted above

2. It has come into the notice of the undersigned that heads of schools are included in the practice of surrendering services of teaching / non-teaching staff on one pretext or another. This practice has no legal standing and against the official norms and decorum. The head teacher is not authorized to surrender any teacher / official rather he can only forward the complaint / give recommendations to the competent authority is Chief Executive Officer DEA or Deputy Commissioner.

3. You are hereby directed to convey the above instructions to all head teachers / headmasters / headmistresses that the above practice may immediately he stopped and in future no such action will be taken by the head teacher. In case of any case of deviation from the above instructions, strict action will be taken against the head teacher.
