Subject: MONITORING AND INSPECTION COMMITTEES FOR
IMPLEMENTATION STATUS OF RE-OPENING OF SCHOOLS SOPs.

I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that Government of the Punjab, School Education Department is planning to re-open the schools in Punjab tentatively w.e.f. 15.09,2020. For this purpose, guidelines / SOPs have already been issued by this department.
2. Now, in order to check and monitor the implementation of said SOPs /guidelines following inspection / monitoring committees are hereby constituted to effectively monitor the whole process before the schools are re-opened and to continue the same exercise once the schools are opened.
MONITORING / INSPECTION COMMITTEE
a) Divisional Director (SE) as Convener of Committee for inspection of Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools.
b) Divisional Director (EE) as Convener of Committee for inspection of Primary and Elementary Schools.
c) Representatives from District QAED.
d) Representatives from PEF of concerned district.
e) District Education Officer (SE/M-EE/W-EE) of concerned District and wing.
f) Focal person regarding anti-dengue in the district concerned (if other than DEO) for both committees.

NOTE: Meaning thereby that Divisional Directors will be Convener of as many committees as are the Districts in his respective Division.
