unspent balances of NSB in Districts school

Subject: UNSPENT BALANCES OF NON-SALARY BUDGET (NSB) IN DISTRICTS

Reference your “Note for Secretary, School Education Department” bearing No.20113 dated 13.08.2020 on the subject noted above.
2. I are directed to inform that Competent Authority, i.e. Secretary, School Education Department has approved following proposals as proposed in above said Note to utilize unspent balance of NSB in districts:-
i). School Councils are allowed to spend these funds on infrastructure development of respective schools as per NSB Guidelines i.e. Construction of Toilet Blocks, Boundary Walls, Repair & Maintenance of buildings, Renovation of laboratories and workshops etc.
These funds are also allowed to pay honorarium to caregivers , Insaaf afternoon School Teachers and to procure furniture /fixture as per policy.
3. Further necessary action may accordingly be taken, please.
